This project has more to do with Gentoo than Netpbm. I started writing an Ebuild for an updated version of Netpbm, but somebody managed to get one into the tree before I finished. Even still, the one that is in the tree sucks, so I'm still going to finish this and submit it. There's a lot of featurage in the build which is flatly ignored by the existing ebuild. Must fix.
